Tocaji Tahana Takanami [break] Appearance [break] Often very regal in his upkeep Takanami is often seen wearing suits of varying dull shades from black, to brown, to grey. He holds himself in a prideful manner, but can easily switch his mannerisms to fit or blend into a crowd. He is a master of changing his social appearance on a whim, though one trait that seems to continuously follow through is the messing with his beard or fingers. He can be quite fidgety if he is unfocused or not smoking. Takanami stands at 6'4'', his hair is mostly brown with dashes of striking silver and white. His eyes are a bright silver, and he has a noticeable scar resting across his face starting from his left temple down to the right side of his jaw. He can often be seen wearing a pair of glasses as well. He rarely wears any jewelry and seems like a very boring man appearance wise. [break][break] Personality [break] Takanami can be a hard man to read, at first glance he can seem like a strict and uncaring individual, one that would rather you did your homework than spend the night recovering from a hard day. That, however, can't be further from the truth. He is a deeply loving individual, he gives his all to the people around him but can find himself trying to distance himself from others. Trying to put a wall between himself and them as if to protect them, he can be a bit closed off and it can take a while for him to warm up to some people. However, once you have his trust, it's hard to break. [break][break] History [break] Born somewhere in Thailand, Takanami was the born the eldest out of his three siblings. He was one of the last born elemental dragons before a great war ravaged his people between man and dragon, causing many to die. He protected himself and his siblings from the horrendous event by siding with a very powerful guardian mage named Sameer, who wanted nothing more than to make peace among men and dragon. During his apprenticeship under Sameer, Takanami learned a large range of skills and abilities as well as learning how to control all elements though he excelled in controlling one of the hardest elements, Lightning. After learning how to manage and control lightning Takanami began to surpass his master Sameer. However with such great strength would come a lot of problems, such as the destiny that had been painted out for him. A huge war reoccurred not long after the dragon and human war had ended. The new war went on for decades between the supernatural and non-supernatural people, deaths of close family and friends tearing Takanami apart slowly. Due to this Takanami took on the role of a guardian after his mentor Sameer was mysteriously killed. He took a large role in being a diplomat between the species, trying to settle petty disputes and create peace. Eventually, though, he grew tired of his role. Handing it over to his sister and moving on, trying to find a new purpose... Eventually, he ended up at the school. How and why are unknown to all but the Principal but neither seem too open to sharing such a thing. [break][break] |
