Shuichi (Kurama) Minamino [break] Appearance [break] As a fair young man of average height and build, Kurama's most noticeable feature is likely to be his long, bright red hair and piercing emerald green eyes, both of which have earned him quite a bit of attention in the past. His features are on the more delicate side, which, paired with his long hair, tend to give him a somewhat androgynous appearance. Because of this, he has been mistaken for a girl on more than one occasion. His style of dress tends to be on the dressy side of casual, such as dress pants and oxfords paired with button ups, though he can be seen in more common casual. When days are on the colder side of things, his cover of choice against the elements tends to be a trench coat, though he has been seen in more convenient, and lighter, jackets. On the opposite side of things, when days are warmer, it's not uncommon to see Kurama with his hair tied back in either a loose or high ponytail and the sleeves of his shirt rolled up. [break][break] On top of all of the above, there is a side to Kurama that most are likely never to see, for it is a side of himself that he likes to keep hidden, and that side is of his demon self, his past self. When Kurama transforms into Youko(the name of his former 'life', and it is a transformation that takes place willingly) he more or less becomes an entirely different person. He grows noticeably taller, his hair turns silver and his eyes turn gold. He sprouts a pair of fox ears and a tail. As Youko, he will almost always be seen in a simple white, sleeveless yukata [break][break] Personality [break] While Kurama may be young in form, his spirit most certainly is not. [break][break] History [break] Originally born as the spirit fox called Youko, Kurama lived for many, many years as a king of his trade as a thief and bandit, making many enemies as he went, including some among the Royalty of Spirit World. [break][break] Notes: [break] I would like it to be said that I'm basing all of this information on the English dub of the anime. While I am completely aware of all the info of the Japanese version, I prefer the English version so it is the one I am using. [break][break] |
